Q: So is this a live stream? Or a concert?

A: This is a live stream event, which you can view in-person at the Uptown. Billy Strings will be performing a full-band set in at the Exit/In in Nashville, while simulcasting us an exclusive, professionally produced live stream, played on The Uptown’s video screen, with the sound being played over our state-of-the-art concert PA. 

Q: Is Billy Strings going to be in-person at the Uptown?

A: No, Billy Strings will not be in-person at the venue; however, this exclusive, professionally produced live stream will be played on The Uptown’s video screen, with the sound being played over our state-of-the-art concert PA. 

Q: Is a mask required? What other safety measures will you be taking?

A: Per the KCMO mask mandate, all attendees and employees are required to wear a face mask, which covers your mouth and nose. Furthermore, we are taking the following precautions:

-Hand sanitizing stations will be available (feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer as well)

-The capacity of the venue has been reduced to 20% of its normal capacity to ensure social distancing measures can be upheld

-Upon entry, fans and employees will be temperature-checked with infrared touchless thermometers to ensure nobody with a fever is admitted

-Attendees will be seated in groups of up to 4 people, with each “pod” of seats at least 6′ away from other guests

-If you are experiencing any symptoms, please stay at home for the health and safety of others

Q: How does seating work?

A: Tickets are general admission, meaning seating is not assigned and will be first-come first-serve. Upon arrival, your group will be seated in a “pod” of seats, based on order of arrival. Pods will be 4 people maximum each, and spaced 6′ apart. If your group is larger than 4 people, we will seat your group in adjacent pods.

Your group needs to arrive together to be seated together; you do not have to purchase at the same time or on the same transaction, but you must enter the venue at the same time to be seated together.

Please note that tickets are purchased per-person like a regular concert, not per-group. Each person entering the venue will need their own valid ticket.

Q: Will there be concessions? How am I going to enjoy them if I have to wear a mask?

A: A full bar will be available with concessions. We ask that you return to your seat with your beverages, and remove your mask only when seated in the theater and only while actively drinking your beverages. Please put your mask back on when you are done with your beverages, and any time you are moving from your seats.

Q: What items are allowed/prohibited?

A: The allowed/prohibited items list will be the same as a normal concert; no outside food or beverage, no professional cameras or recording devices, no illegal drugs, no weapons of any kind. Q: When should I arrive?

A: Doors will open at 6:30pm, and the live stream will begin promptly at 8:00pm. There is no opener; Billy Strings will begin right at 8:00pm.

Please arrive at the venue early prior to the show starting to ensure you have time to be seated. Note that parking may be limited due to construction in the area, so please allow extra time to park as well.
